My current favorite cook book is Plant Power Bowls by Sapana Chandra. I discovered the Plant Power Bowls cook book when my husband and I were on a mini-vacation from Wisconsin to Minnesota. I saw the cook book in the window of a small kitchen gadget shop near Lake Harriet in Minnesota — and I had to have it! 

What I love most about Plant Power Bowls by Sapana Chandra is: (1) The recipes are divided up seasonally, so you can cook with the ingredients most readily-available in your garden or grocery store, (2) The recipes are 1-bowl recipes, so it's just a matter of throwing everything together, and (3) Every recipe is uniquely flavorful.

Running Shoes

After some trial and error, I finally found my favorite pair of running shoes: New Balance FuelCell Propel running shoes. I love these shoes, because they offer just the right amount of cushion, while still being responsive enough while I run each day.

New Balance shoes also come in a wide variety of widths, which I find to be really helpful when it comes to finding the perfect shoe to feel comfortable in, no matter the distances you run.

After fracturing my foot in early 2020, these shoes have been my go-to for creating a really supportive, fun, and safe run.

Brightening Facial Scrub

A handful of years ago, I discovered Acure — a natural, vegan, family-owned beauty product company I instantly loved.
