Spring is just around the corner! It’s been a slow and snowy winter, so I’m excited to say: the sun is shining today, rain is in the forecast tomorrow — and that means it’s just a matter of weeks until all the snow is gone and we can enjoy the season! I look forward to spring so much, because I love being able to open up all the windows, go for walks in our neighborhood, and plan out my little balcony garden!

Today, though, I’m excited to share a small update to our master bedroom. We finally purchased a dresser — our very first didn’t-have-to-assemble-it piece of furniture ever! I’m excited to share: the dresser is amazing. It has soft-close drawers, a velvet jewelry drawer on my side, and it’s super spacious. We love our dresser! It turns out, pre-assembled furniture is awesome!

I’m trying not to fill this new surface with too much stuff — here is the progress!

You can find “Before and Afters” of our condo on my Instagram Stories! Everything has come a really long way — from brown walls, to lots of bright, white paint and light, airy decor!

What else is new?

  • We’re taking a trip to Chicago to see Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me! It was my Valentine’s Day present to Ben along with this Public Radio Nerd mug, and he’s pretty darn excited!
  • I’ll start teaching Entrepreneurial Marketing at the end of March through May! I’m chiseling away at my lesson plans and feeling grateful to re-enter higher education with teaching just an 8-week course!
  • At the end of the semester, Ben and I are taking a trip to Vancouver! We officially booked our trip over the weekend, and every detail is a surprise for Ben. (I love planning trips!) I’m most excited for all the fun, outdoorsy adventures we’ll have.
